Dirt Baggs, Motorcycle Panniers

Well its Feb 27, I see a lot snow out side, All though it doesn’t look like it, I feel that we are going to have a early spring, we sure deserve it. Today I want to introduce a new product for the adventure bikes,

called Dirt Baggs. 

These are a Metal Pannier Waterproof, Powder coated, Butterfly latches, with 4 hooks on each lid for strapping things down. Removable lids, very light weight, Very easy to mount to most racks, will fit all dual sport bikes.

New Products 2012

2012 is so far looking good, the weather has been so mild that the season has begun, along with new models are new accessories, Over the next weeks I want to share some of these greats products that are now available with you.

The Photon Throttle Lock.
A inexpensive cruise control, easily installs and easy removable, no tools, this is a great product which allows you to rest you hand. " Shack out that cramp ". It uses is a friction fit on the throttle grip and uses the brake lever as a rest. You can twist the throttle off with simple twist. Sells for $20.00    

2011 Royal Enfield

We recently had a opportunity to work on a 2011 Royal Enfield. The bike came in for a full service and the installation of a aftermarket muffler, The scheduled maintenance went well and the muffler install turned out great. The new muffler is a lot lighter and the removal of the stock muffler lost a lot of weight, the muffler is louder then stock and it looks great. Thanks to Allan for allowing us to share his bike. 

 
 
 

Bike Show Well Attended

The show started Friday at noon and was steady all day. It was very busy both Saturday and Sunday, everyone i spoke with was very excited about the up coming season, there was a good buzz in the air. I met a lot of new people and caught up with our existing customers. The weather was great and a number of people rode there bikes to the show. We had lots of positive comments on the new tent we are offering. Dave Anderson sold two tents at the show, The Kendon lift and trailer were well received as they always are. Andrea of Powersport Seats had a lot of interest it seems that seats are the most modified part on a bike. Any way it was a great event, and i am glad to have it behind me, the next event is the world of wheels in February. I have included some pictures of the show booth.

I have talked with a number of people that are interested in taking part of our 1st annual adventure ride, coming spring 2012. You will need a adventure bike as we will be traveling on gravel roads, I have a number of possible routes, we will be leaving on a Saturday morning and camping overnight arriving home late Sunday. This will be a good opportunity to test out, packing gear, sleeping arrangements, food, etc. I am still deciding on the date. stay tuned for more info. 2012 Bike show around the corner

With Christmas and New years now over. I am looking forward to the Motorcycle show which is next week end, January 6 - 8th. this a great opportunity to see the new models as well as new products and accessories.

My 1988 R100GS project is nearing completion and will be ready for our display, After a complete service,  I am added powerlet cables and the Garmin 660 GPS.

We move into the show Thursday this coming week, we share space with Dave Anderson of Anderwerks, Don Fergin of Universal Cycle and Andrea Briggs of Powersport Seats. Dave and myself are showcasing a brand new product the Redverz Expedition tent, large enough to park your adventure bike inside, out of the elements. This a awesome product. We still have have VIP tickets available at the shop only $11.00 ea we will be open Tuesday Jan 3 until Friday.
